Missions @ Hope...

The members of Hope have always been actively involved in supporting missions both locally and internationally. Over the years members have experienced short term mission trips to various countries and other parts of Canada.

Hope's in home missions

Hope's in heart missions

Mission Circle

The Mission Circle at Hope is a group of ladies that meet weekly to make quilts, roll bandages, and sew hospital gowns. They also collect afghans, blankets, slippers, sweaters, scarves, etc. to sent to the mission field. These items are distributed to needy individuals through organizations like Canadian Lutheran World Relief and the Lampwick Thrift store in Saskatchewan.

Agape Pantry

The Agape Pantry has been setup in the basement of Hope Lutheran Church to provide food, clothing and other items for members of Hope in need. The pantry is open to members of Hope only and is open on the second Friday of each month provided there is ample food available from 4-6 pm. Support is also being provided to help those in need of assistance accessing appropriate community resources and learning budgeting techniques.

Children of Promise International (COPI) - Orphanage in Malakal Sudan

With many Sudanese members in our congregation we have developed a personal connection our sister church and the people in Malakal Sudan. With the support of Children of Promise International and Engineering Ministries Canada we have undertaken to build and orphanage in Malakal Sudan. Stay tuned for more information and pictures.
